Hours of Operation
MentorMe® Daycare is located at a private residence in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:00am to 6:00pm.
If you have Special Circumstances, for example: non-standard working hours or attending full time school hours only, at our discretion, we are able to contract full-time hours to meet your schedule. Please discuss any changes to your schedule with the Director.
Please Note:
MentorMe® Daycare must comply with State regulations in order to remain operational and must restructure staff time to meet the changes in your schedule.
Authorization for Pick/Up
To ensure the safety of your child, only you or the person listed on your Authorization Form may pick up your child. Phoning the daycare to let us know someone other than you will be picking up your child is fine if we know the person or your child can identify him or her.
Legal Custody Verification
We must have a copy of the court order recognizing the parent who has legal custody of the child, as well as, visitation schedules. Otherwise we have no choice except to release the child to his/her parent. In addition, MentorMe® Daycare is compelled to report parental negligence and abuse demonstrated by the parents during daycare hours.
Child Abuse and Neglect
It is the law and also the responsibility of the daycare to report any and all apparent incidents of child abuse or child neglect performed in the presence of or on a child. Therefore, MentorMe® Daycare will notify Children's Protective Services and the Police Department when it appears that a child within our care is being physically, sexually, or emotionally abused, neglected, or exploited.
